April 2019 was a great month for the neighbourhood of Millcroft and we can see this in the above chart, Burlington Residential Market Activity, shows us that an average home in Millcroft was listed at $678,538. And there was a recorded 101 sales, with a total of 143 new listings.
The statistics that were released by the REALTORS Association of Burlington Hamilton also indicated that there was a sales to new listing ratio of 69.9% which was an increase from April 2018. And finally it was reported that the average days a home was on the market in Millcroft was 20.7 days.
Millcroft is located in area 35 on the above map, Average Residential Price by District. And we can clearly see that the neighbourhood of Millcroft is the leader when it comes to number of sales for the month of April.
Once again we can also see that the average cost of a home was $678,538. Burlington overall had a very strong month with a total of 498 sales and 536 active listings, a 4% increase when compared to the same time last year.
RAHB Statistics for April 2019
There were a reported 1,226 sales in the entire RAHB market area for April 2019. And a 6% increase from April last year and an 18.8% increase over March 2019 and a 66.8% increase over February 2019. We also learned that the average cost of a home was reported at $589,324 which was a 3.9% increase from April 2018.
“It’s encouraging to see the overall number of sales increase since last year when the market balanced out from 2016 and 2017. Paired with a consistent increase in new listings month over month, Hamilton, Burlington and the outlying areas provide choice for buyers and a healthy market for seller,” said RAHB President Bob Van de Vrande.
