Walk Meet-Up
Location: Civic Square
When: May 6th at 11am
Admission: Free
Walk with the Mayor of Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward to various art installations in Burlington (approx. 2.5km). You’ll be learning about the installations origin and history. It's recommended that you wear comfortable shoes because you will be doing lots of walking.
Mother’s Day Brunch
Location: Burlington Convention Centre, 1120 Burloak Drive
When: May 12th from 11:30am to 3pm
Admission: $49 (adults), $29 (children 4-12)
Enjoy a beautiful Mother’s Day brunch in Burlington this spring with the ones you love. The Burlington Convention Centre is serving up a great brunch that will include bakery items, Belgian waffles, a salad bar, a hot carving station, desserts and a chocolate fountain. You need to book a table for this event in advance.
Rotary Club of Burlington 48th Annual Lobsterfest
Location: Burlington Central Arena, 519 Drury Lane
When: May 25th from 5:30pm to 10:30pm
Admission: $75 (all ages)
Celebrate the 48th annual Rotary Club of Burlington Lobsterfest in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton and Hamilton and The Angel Project. The Lobsterfest will also include chicken and ribs, there’s something for everyone. This is an event you won't want to miss, make sure you buy tickets ASAP.
Sound Of Music Festival
Location: Spencer Smith Park
When: Saturday June 8th from 3pm to 11pm
Admission for ticketed shows: $75 (adults), $25 (youth). All VIP and front row tickets are sold out. For the regular shows admission is free.
This will be the 40th year of the Sound Of Music Festival in Spencer Smith Park. And this year there's an incredible line up planned. Brant street has lots of vendors and musical performances to see as well as in the park. You will want to get downtown Burlington this spring to experience the famous Sound Of Music Festival for yourself.
